Senior Integration Engineer (SAP & Enterprise Interfaces) - Remote

Overview

The Senior Integration Engineer will build the integration domain of the Personal.manager (PM) platform, which digitalizes service and personnel planning in healthcare. The role involves programming integrations that work seamlessly with SAP HCM and other enterprise systems using the SAP Integration Suite and a DMZ gateway.

In Short

• Develop REST endpoints for master data and event handling
• Implement DB-Outbox pattern and worker logic
• Integrate with EMQX as an internal event bus
• Maintain versioned payload contracts
• Programmatically implement flows in SAP Integration Suite
• Build clean error channels and coordinate with SAP teams
• Focus on domain-specific interfaces
• Provide guidance to a junior integration engineer
• Ensure integrations run autonomously and recover from errors
• Work in a hybrid or fully remote setup

Requirements

• Proficient in programming with NodeJS/TypeScript
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL
• Experience with integration tools and patterns
• Understanding of system interfaces and contracts
• Ability to ensure integrations are robust and maintainable
• Helpful: Experience with SAP Integration Suite
• Knowledge of regulated environments and logging
• Experience with SaaS architectures and API design
• Not required to be an SAP specialist
