Membership Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Membership Specialist is a part-time remote position that supports all functions of membership recruitment, retention, and program for Girl Scouts of Central Indiana.

In Short

• Part-time position (20-25 hours per week)
• Responsible for recruiting girls and volunteers
• Assist with retention of members
• Conduct outreach to local programs and events
• Deliver marketing materials to designated locations
• Attend community events and meetings
• Facilitate starter troops for girls on waitlists
• Maintain accurate records for payroll
• Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements

• High school diploma; some college preferred
• Sales or recruitment experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or in teams
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience working with diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Current valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must hold membership in the Girl Scout organization
