AWS Cloud Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Chicago-based AWS Cloud Engineer to help manage the company’s IT operations, security and infrastructure, while overseeing and maintaining IT-related policies aligned with regulatory and cybersecurity frameworks.

In Short

• Manage IT-related office technology and troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor antivirus/antimalware for company assets.
• Oversee IT-hardware assets from acquisition to disposal.
• Serve as the main point of contact for IT vendor management.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and respond to incidents.
• Develop and test Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity procedures.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks.
• Conduct periodic internal reviews for compliance.
• Collaborate with legal and management on compliance requirements.
• Participate in training for data security and compliance best practices.

Requirements

• Experience with Cloud operations and AWS.
• Hands-on experience with network administration.
• Solid cybersecurity background.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks like HIPAA, SOC, HITRUST.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in the Fintech or Payment Card industry is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a smaller environment.
• Motivated outlook with proactive involvement.
• Experience with HITRUST and PCI certification is helpful.
