As a Senior Associate Scientist at Gilead, you will be part of a team dedicated to developing therapies for life-threatening illnesses using state-of-the-art technologies.

In Short

• Join Gilead's Pre-Pivotal Biologics Analytical Development group.
• Execute and support development of analytical methods (ELISA and qPCR).
• Acquire and interpret data for molecule characterization and process development studies.
• Author method development reports and test procedures.
• Assist in troubleshooting method and instrument related issues.
• Maintain strong documentation practices in electronic laboratory notebooks.
• Work independently and collaboratively on assigned tasks.
• Present results and interpret data in group meetings.

Requirements

• B.S. with 5 years or MS with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Analytical Chemistry or related fields.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with analytical method development of biologic products preferred.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC, MS, and other separation methods is a plus.
• Familiarity with lab automation and data science is advantageous.
