IT Trainer (m/f/x) - Remote Possible

Overview

GFN GmbH, an educational provider specializing in IT, supports individuals in their further education and professional reorientation across Germany. We are looking for trainers (m/f/x) on a freelance basis and in permanent employment for several weeks of training assignments.

In Short

• Teaching IT learning fields 1 to 12 according to the IHK framework curriculum.
• Introduction to programming (UML class diagrams, use case diagrams, EPK, Nassi-Shneiderman diagram, program flow chart, pseudocode).
• Programming with Python.
• Object-oriented programming with Java.
• Planning, executing, testing, and deploying software projects.
• Web development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Developing and designing databases with SQL.
• Setting up an IT workplace (hardware and software).
• Introduction to network technology (network topologies, network components, coupling devices, protocols, OSI layer models).
• Current server and client operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• IT security (types of attacks, firewalls, DMZ, encryption, VPN, virus protection and removal).
• Data protection (GDPR) and data security.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in IT/completed computer science studies or comparable training.
• Training qualification examination of the IHK (AEVO) or willingness to provide such proof.
• Teaching experience in adult education, ideally in the funded education sector.
• You enjoy teaching and are pedagogically and didactically competent.
