In Short

• Establish the company's standalone tax function.
• Manage all Federal, State and local tax matters.
• Oversee all aspects of tax compliance for partnerships.
• Advise leadership on tax implications for business initiatives.
• Select and manage relationships with third-party tax consultants.
• Own the tax accounting process and manage partner tax capital accounts.
• Manage all tax audits and inquiries from authorities.

Requirements

• 12 years of progressive tax experience, with at least 5 in a leadership role.
• Experience in partnership taxation and managing K-1 reporting.
• Hands-on expertise in State and Local Tax (SALT).
• CPA certification and a Master's degree in Taxation or JD.
