Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic software development team, responsible for designing and developing high-performance user interfaces and scalable backend services for GM’s eCommerce experiences.

In Short

Develop and maintain responsive, accessible full-stack applications.
Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams.
Implement best practices in code structure and testing.
Integrate RESTful APIs for cross-platform experiences.
Drive performance optimization and reliability.
Mentor junior engineers through code reviews.
Resolve production issues quickly.
Explore modern frameworks and tools.
Communicate with stakeholders effectively.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, especially React.
Familiarity with eCommerce frameworks like Shopify’s Hydrogen.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration.
Expertise in responsive design and accessibility.
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with the Shopify Plus toolset is a plus.
Preferred: Experience with TypeScript and testing frameworks.
