• Legal and factual research
• Drafting legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts and legal memoranda(s)
• Assisting lawyers in the preparation of pleadings and motions
• Preparing and answering written discovery
• Preparing correspondence
• Organizing and tracking case files
• Reviewing and monitoring new and updated laws and regulations
• Helping with trial preparation including witness lists, exhibits and trial binders
• Assisting lawyers in the courtroom
• Accurately and timely submit billing for work performed

Requirements

• Knowledge of legal terminology, court rules and the judicial system
• Outstanding time-management and organization skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to authoring accurate work
