Overview

GeBBS is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Diagnostic Radiology Coding Specialist to join our team on a part-time/PRN basis. This position offers the flexibility of working from your home office with semi-flexible hours.

In Short

• Part-time position with flexible hours
• Perform Professional Fee Coding for Diagnostic Radiology services
• Confirm Computer Assisted Coding and edit CPT/Modifiers
• Utilize Centricity/RIS for coding and access orders and records in EPIC EMR
• Maintain availability Monday through Friday with flexible options
• Participate in training sessions during weekdays
• Must have CPC or equivalent certification
• 3 years of active radiology coding experience required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

Requirements

• CPC or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA
• At least 3 years of active radiology coding experience
• CodeRyte and EPIC experience a plus
• Proficient in outpatient diagnosis coding guidelines
• Must complete a certain number of claims per pay period
• Must maintain a 95% accuracy rate
• Proven experience in Diagnostic Radiology coding
• Prefer experience with IVR
• Familiarity with Centricity/RIS and EPIC EMR systems
• Ability to commit to 15-20 hours of work per week
