Systems Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Systems Engineer, you will support the United States Postal Service (USPS) and contribute to meaningful projects while ensuring the deployment and management of retail applications.

In Short

• Provide packaging & distribution support for retail applications.
• Deploy driver, firmware, and configuration updates for terminals.
• Test and deploy security updates using System Center Configuration Manager.
• Provide support for lab environments and incident management.
• Develop and test scripts for packaging updates.
• Review and maintain script execution logs.
• Interact with stakeholders for package handoffs.
• Monitor deployment of scripts to ensure updates.
• Work with various software and technologies relevant to retail systems.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of related professional work experience.
• Strong programming skills in relevant technologies.
• Experience with deployment and monitoring of applications.
• Knowledge of security update processes.
• Ability to interact with stakeholders effectively.
• Experience with ServiceNow Change Requests.
• Must be a U.S. resident for security clearance.
• Ability to work off-hours/weekends as needed.
• Experience with various deployment tools and environments.
