Overview

As a Sr. Technical/Copy Editor, you will support the Technology Shared Services Writing and Process Management team by researching, preparing, and editing technical and graphic documentation.

In Short

• Produce high-quality documentation that meets standards.
• Create standardized stylesheets and templates.
• Conduct technical edits on existing documentation.
• Develop process, procedure, and work instruction documentation.
• Create easy-to-understand user guides/job aids.
• Review existing processes for improvements.
• Collaborate with GDIT programs for documentation requirements.
• Define documentation project scope and monitor schedules.
• Participate in special projects as required.
• Help cultivate a pipeline of talented professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with MS Suite and process mapping software.
• Proficient writing and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
• Leadership and ownership of projects/tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer interface experience.
• NICE TO HAVE: ITIL v4 Foundations, 508 Compliance experience.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with Adobe, XML Editor, PowerPoint, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and Confluence.
