• Design, develop, and maintain Azure Functions for business logic and data workflows.
• Build and manage APIs with Azure API Management (APIM).
• Optimize Azure SQL stored procedures and queries for performance.
• Implement authentication/authorization using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Integrate backend services with front-end applications and healthcare data systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD in Azure DevOps.
• Ensure compliance with security standards like FedRAMP and HIPAA.
• Document APIs and backend processes for maintainability.
• Troubleshoot performance and reliability issues.
• Work in a fully remote environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong experience with Azure Functions and API Management.
• Proficiency in Azure SQL development.
• Hands-on experience with authentication using Azure AD B2C.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of secure coding practices.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Preferred: Microsoft Azure certifications.
