RHEL Systems Administrator - Remote

Overview

As a RHEL Systems Administrator at GDIT, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical systems supporting the Commander, Navy Installation Command applications.

• Must possess an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of related experience in IT.
• Active Secret clearance with completed T5 Investigation.
• BS Degree in Computer Science or IT related field.
• DoD 8570 IAT II compliant - Security+ CE certification.
• Experience in system administration and maintenance of physical systems.
• Ability to manage server and database accounts.
• Experience with troubleshooting and monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with Jira and IssueTrak.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of STIG compliance and security best practices.
