QuickSight Business Intelligence Developer - Remote

Overview

The QuickSight Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for supporting the CMS Cloud Product Tools team by developing business intelligence dashboards and reporting efforts using Amazon QuickSight and other data visualization tools.

In Short

• Develop and configure dashboards in Amazon QuickSight.
• Collect and analyze data using SQL and DQL queries.
• Implement proofs of concept with business intelligence technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for reporting requirements.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Monitor and update existing reports for accuracy.
• Maintain documentation of report specifications and methodologies.
• Continuously evaluate and improve reporting processes.
• Support occasional travel to MD/VA/DC area.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with data visualization tools like QuickSight, Tableau, or PowerBI.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Relevant technical training or degree preferred.
• AWS certification is a plus.
• Experience with AWS services and Linux is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
