Overview

The Network Engineer in the IT Operations team will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical networking systems; including Cisco technologies, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate infrastructure.

In Short

  • Responsible for the development and sustainment of Gateway’s networking environment.
  • Ensure operational readiness (security, health, and performance).
  • Collaborate with multiple project/program stakeholders.
  • Lead physical and logical Network related design concept.
  • Serve as the top tier in fault identification and resolution.
  • Engage in performance and fault analysis.
  • Maintain all related network design and support documentation.
  • Provide expert technology platform support.
  • Work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Options to work remotely after the role is learned.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Networking or Technology.
  • 7+ years of Network Design & Management experience.
  • 10+ years of technical experience in supporting an integrated WAN environment.
  • Experience with networking: routers/switches/firewalls.
  • Knowledge of network best practices.
  • General understanding of Network Architecture.
  • Fluent/familiar with Hybrid cloud and on-premises VPN Interconnectivity.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be willing to work in an on-call environment.
  • Individual must have or be eligible for AGCO Licensing.
