Research Engineer - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a passionate Research Engineer to join our Incubator team and help drive bleeding edge blockchain innovation. As a Research Engineer, you will play a pivotal role of an R&D generalist, taking ownership of various research, development, and deployment initiatives.

In Short

• Deep understanding of blockchain technology, covering areas like consensus mechanisms and optimized transaction processing.
• Design, develop, and deploy experimental proof of concept architecture.
• Execute end-to-end smart contract and infrastructure-related functionality deployments.
• Read, interact with, and efficiently streamline open source code interactions.
• Stay on top of innovation trends and produce feasible technical roadmaps.

Requirements

• Mandatory deep understanding of cryptography, consensus algorithms, blockchain infrastructure, smart contracts.
• Demonstrated expertise in zero-knowledge and/or scaling technologies.
• Extensive experience with Golang, Python, and Django.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Helm, and automated testing frameworks.
• Ability to efficiently analyze and interpret complex code.
• Strong engineering curiosity and passion for experimentation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and produce deliverables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
