On-Site Construction Safety Supervisor - Remote

Overview

Gallagher Bassett Technical Services is seeking a qualified professional to join our Construction Site Safety Operations team. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of an active roadway construction site utility work team, identifying safety hazards and providing safety monitoring.

In Short

• Position reports to the Director of Safety Field Operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and training.
• Experience in construction safety and health implications.
• Prepare daily safety inspection reports and conduct safety meetings.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
• Completion of OSHA Construction Safety & Health Course required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation needed.
• Ability to work on feet for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Availability for off-shift and weekend work.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial building construction safety experience desired.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and building codes.
• Excellent observation skills.
• Bi-lingual or multi-lingual communication skills preferred.
• Located in Orange County, FL regional area preferred.
