• Analyze and research audit components; generate business and/or data specifications.
• Verify that all requirements have been met by confirming evidentiary documentation.
• Create data extract queries and perform data analysis on Medicaid data sets.
• Communicate with internal and external customers, measuring and sharing project metrics.
• Use analytics, reporting, and relational database tools to quantify the anticipated impact.
• Support audit projects by escalating risks and implementing mitigation solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst position.
• Knowledge of audit processes within a Medicaid or Medicare context.
• Advanced knowledge in analytical software such as Microsoft Excel and SQL.
• Knowledge of requirement-mapping tools such as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
• Ability to translate regulatory and compliance requirements into actionable objectives.
• Strong client communication skills.
• Leadership to train and mentor junior colleagues.
