Overview

As part of the strategy around GoCompare's acquisition by Future, we're putting in a technology roadmap for re-platforming our domain around an API first, cloud based serverless architecture to become the leading PCW service. This is part of our plan to broaden the scope from the GoCompare brand.

In Short

• Build new systems as part of a technology roadmap.
• Input into architecture and design.
• Work with engineers at all levels.
• Ensure scalable, tested changes in line with best practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, UX, QA, and PMO teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their code.
• Utilize .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node JS, and Azure Services.
• Implement testing frameworks and modern architecture.
• Participate in CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience with .NET and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Node JS and Azure Services.
• Knowledge of application monitoring practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks.
• Understanding of TDD and BDD.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of modern architecture concepts.
• Experience with ReactJS (Hooks & Context API).
• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Strong collaboration skills.
