Security Engineer III - Remote

Overview

The Security Engineer III will research, test, implement, optimize, and maintain security tools and frameworks to address modern threats, including responsibilities around cloud security and incident handling.

In Short

• Research, test, and implement new security technologies.
• Support and improve IT Security Frameworks.
• Act as a senior escalation point for incident response.
• Identify and document potential security violations.
• Provide security input on infrastructure and application projects.
• Develop dashboards for incident and risk reporting.
• Ensure daily SLA adherence and compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 7+ years of IT Security experience.
• 3+ years in cloud security technologies.
• Expertise in SIEM and endpoint security.
• Experience managing incident response.
• Advanced understanding of networking and threat mitigation.
• Certifications preferred: CISSP, CCSK, CCSP.
