In Short

• Integrate CG elements, matte paintings, and live-action footage to create seamless, high-quality final shots.
• Report to the Head of 2D and ensure visuals meet high artistic and technical standards.
• Composite complex VFX shots for feature films and television.
• Maintain a high level of photorealism and color accuracy.
• Troubleshoot creative and technical challenges.
• Collaborate with CG, lighting, and matte painting teams.
• Provide mentorship to junior artists.
• Optimize workflows and contribute to compositing tools development.
• Adhere to production schedules and meet deadlines.
• Communicate clearly with team members and clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a compositor in a high-end VFX studio.
• Expertise in Nuke and advanced compositing techniques.
• Strong understanding of color theory and photographic principles.
• Experience with multi-pass CG compositing and 3D projections.
• Familiarity with Maya, Houdini, and industry-standard tracking software.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of Python for compositing automation is a plus.
• Experience in stereo compositing is a bonus.
