Senior IT Support Administrator - Remote

Overview

We are seeking Senior IT Systems Administrators to join our team based in Perth to provide end users with IT support to facilitate Fugro’s vessels and remote operations locally and globally.

In Short

• Act as the first point of contact for end users in the field or remote operations centers.
• Support deployment of standard infrastructure and systems.
• Monitor systems and handle alerts according to procedures.
• Complete periodic system maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate purchasing and logistics for hardware maintenance.
• Support cyber security initiatives.
• Generate support activities with external vendors.
• Create IT infrastructure and systems support documentation.

Requirements

• Tertiary degree or certificate in Information Technology or related fields.
• Proven experience in similar roles, preferably in marine/offshore industries.
• Solid technical knowledge on desktop and server infrastructure.
• Pro-active and dynamic approach to work.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively at all levels.
• Ability to generate written instructions and support documentation.
