Overview

The Innovation Counsel will develop cutting-edge, high impact legal strategies advocating for fundamental rights for animals.

In Short

• Develop innovative legal strategies for animal rights.
• Research and apply legal statutes and precedents.
• Supervise counsel, fellows, and law student interns.
• Engage with media and public speaking on legal work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• J.D. with a minimum of three years of legal experience.
• Member in good standing of a state bar association.
• Excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Support for PETA’s philosophy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Commitment to the organization's objectives.
