Overview

As a Radiation Effects Engineer at Frontgrade Gaisler, you will help analyze and test electronic components for radiation effects, ensuring reliable performance in the harsh space environment.

• Analyze and test electronic components for radiation effects.
• Design and develop test systems including PCBs, FPGA designs, and software.
• Write test plans and execute tests.
• Perform data analysis and write test reports.
• Debug complex test problems.
• Make recommendations for design improvements and data collection.

• Work under a hybrid model with up to two days remote.

• Communicate fluently in English.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in hardware testing.
• Experience with programming/scripting (C/C++, Python, Tcl) and/or FPGA design (VHDL).
• Understanding of computer architecture and electronics.
• Experience working with laboratory equipment.
