Product and Process Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support product development at Kennel Connection, our SaaS platform for pet care businesses.

In Short

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from internal teams and customers.
• Translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
• Maintain a prioritized and groomed product backlog in Azure DevOps (or similar tool).
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate understanding and execution of requirements.
• Assist QA by reviewing test plans and confirming that developed features meet specifications.
• Identify gaps in workflows and help define product improvements based on customer feedback.
• Conduct basic competitor feature research to inform product planning.
• Participate in regular sprint planning and product meetings to support delivery cadence.
• (Preferred) Create wireframes or mockups to illustrate workflows or feature proposals using tools like Figma, Balsamiq, or Lucidchart.

Requirements

• Experience in business analysis or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with SaaS platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles is preferred.
• Proficiency in using project management tools like Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
