Visual Development Internship 2025 - Remote

Overview

Framestore Los Angeles is looking for forward-thinking, creatively driven individuals to join our Visual Development team for a 4-month paid internship.

In Short

• This program is ideal for candidates with a passion for visual storytelling and an interest in emerging creative technologies.
• It is particularly well-suited for aspiring VFX Generalists with an interest in 3D environment creation.
• The internship will start on August 18, 2025, and finish on December 5, 2025.
• Internships will ideally follow a hybrid model with some onsite presence beneficial.
• Candidates must have reliable internet access for remote workdays.
• Hands-on experience with ComfyUI is required.
• Internships are paid at $21 per hour.
• Must have current work authorization for the USA.
• Available to work 40 hours a week.
• Deadline for applications is end of day (PST) June 27, 2025.

Requirements

• Familiarity with generative AI tools.
• Experience in traditional 3D/2D software such as Blender, Houdini, Maya, or Nuke.
• Experience working with Unreal Engine.
• Basic understanding of traditional VFX pipelines.
• A willingness to learn about emerging technologies and new workflows.
