CG Generalist Intern - Remote

Overview

Framestore Chicago is looking for the next generation of VFX talent to join us as a CG Generalist Intern.

In Short

• 4-month paid internship starting June 8, 2026, and ending September 25, 2026.
• Focus on developing skills in a production environment.
• Work alongside experienced artists and attend project reviews.
• Internships conducted in a hybrid model with remote days.
• Must have internet access for remote work and be commutable to Chicago studio.
• Foundational knowledge of industry-standard software required.
• Internships are paid at $21 per hour.
• Candidates must have current work authorization for the USA.
• No financial relocation assistance offered.

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of Houdini, Maya, Nuke, and/or Substance Painter.
• Working knowledge of Arnold or comparable rendering platforms.
• Ability to create clean, highly detailed imagery with an emphasis on photorealism.
• Familiarity with Linux systems is a plus.
