Fulltime Telehealth Dietitian - Remote

Overview

Foodsmart is seeking Registered Dietitians (RDs) to support the comprehensive nutrition care mission of Foodsmart Nutrition Network, which is grounded in removing the financial barriers in accessing and affording healthy food.

In Short

• Provide individualized medical nutrition therapy (MNT) via remote sessions.
• Support patients in accessing and using SNAP benefits.
• Help patients build healthier eating and shopping habits.
• Document care in electronic medical records.
• Manage a panel of clients with various chronic health conditions.
• Communicate effectively through HIPAA-compliant video and audio calls.
• Develop lasting relationships with patients for sustainable behavior change.
• Work in a start-up environment and provide feedback for improvements.
• Motivate patients to continue their care journey.
• Advocate for underserved Medicaid populations.

Requirements

• Active credentialing as a Registered Dietitian.
• At least one state licensure and willingness to obtain more.
• Ability to work in the U.S.
• Strong clinical background and experience in motivational interviewing.
• Proactive and self-starter with an independent approach.
