• Own the datacenter cooling system design and thermal management.
• Manage mechanical engineering systems including air and liquid cooling.
• Create strategies for mechanical system design and deployment.
• Develop design standards for cooling systems.
• Lead innovation in mechanical engineering for efficiency.
• Maintain design documentation and specifications.
• Conduct factory and site inspections for mechanical systems.
• Perform CFD modelling for airflow validation.
• Specify equipment like chillers and pumps.
• Drive energy-efficiency initiatives.
• Interface with other engineering teams during design reviews.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally (20% travel expected).

Requirements

• B.S/B.E/B.A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in datacenter mechanical systems design.
• Mastery of ASHRAE TC 9.9 and ISO 14644 standards.
• Hands-on experience with CFD software and Revit/BIM.
• Strong vendor network in cooling system components.
• PE/Chartered Engineer preferred.
