Principal Data Center Electrical Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Principal Electrical Engineer will own the data center power system design from utility to racks, defining the power infrastructure for high-density GPU campuses.

• Manage electrical engineering systems for data centers including MV and LV power distribution.
• Create strategy for electrical system design and deployment.
• Develop electrical design standards for power distribution.
• Lead innovation for achieving high efficiency in electrical systems.
• Develop and maintain design basis and specifications.
• Facilitate project-specific drawings with external consultants.
• Develop one-line diagrams for utility feeds and substations.
• Calculate load steps and fault-level analysis.

Requirements

• B.S/B.E/B.A degree in electrical engineering.
• 10+ years designing data center electrical systems.
• Expert in NEC, IEC, and IEEE standards.
• Familiar with liquid-cooled rack power delivery.
• PE/Chartered Electrical Engineer preferred.
