Business Analyst - Remote

Overview

FloSports is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support IT systems teams in tracking software spend, controlling costs, and driving data-driven decisions.

In Short

• Monitor and analyze unit economics, focusing on cost drivers and profitability metrics.
• Optimize Cloud FinOps by tracking cloud usage and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Google sheets/excel, Domo, and Salesforce.
• Conduct financial modeling and forecasting to support cost control initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT Systems teams to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support with maintaining data pipelines for accurate reporting of KPIs.
• Monitor software usage and contract utilization.
• Provide ad-hoc analyses on strategic initiatives.
• Perform data transformation and analysis for strategic decision-making.
• Communicate complex data insights clearly to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience with Domo or similar visualization tools.
• Understanding of API data extraction.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog.
• Strong analytical skills for actionable insights.
• Experience in financial analysis and cost tracking.
• Hands-on experience with unit economics analysis.
• Self-motivated and proactive, capable of independent work.
