• This role seeks to expand the capabilities of our Android Device Video team.
• Focus on building application-level support for new products and performance improvements.
• 75% new feature, architecture, design, and implementation work in the Android Apps space.
• 25% cross-functional architecture and planning work with other teams.
• Strong Java and C/C++ skills required.
• Experience with Live Video on Embedded devices is essential.
• Ability to learn Kotlin and navigate video streaming stacks.
• Strong debugging skills on custom Android hardware.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, and Git/GitHub.

Requirements

• Strong Java, C/C++ skills.
• Experience with Live Video on Embedded devices.
• Ability to learn Kotlin.
• Expertise in Embedded Video Streaming.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Git/GitHub.
• Ability to read and adapt to a large existing codebase.
• Experience with custom Android devices.
• Architecture, design, and documentation skills.
• Ability to learn new areas of Embedded Video Streaming.
