In Short

• Flock is looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer for the Hardware Engineering design team.
• This role focuses on electrical design of Flock Safety products and peripherals.
• Collaboration with internal and external engineering teams is essential.
• Remote work is typical, but travel for 1-3 weeks quarterly is required.
• Requires a BSEE with 3+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with PCB Circuit Design and Altium Designer is necessary.
• Familiarity with mobile electronic architectures and power delivery networks is important.
• Knowledge of various peripheral interfaces and IoT technologies is essential.
• Hands-on experience with testing and validation lab equipment is required.
• Must be comfortable working in a start-up environment.

Requirements

• BSEE with 3+ years of industry experience.
• PCB Circuit Design production experience.
• Familiarity with Altium Designer.
• Experience with mobile electronic product architectures.
• Knowledge of standard peripheral interfaces.
• Understanding of IoT and wireless interfaces.
• Experience with SI/PI board-level verification.
• Hands-on experience with PCB debugging and verification.
• Comfortable in a start-up environment.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
