Systems Administrator - Remote

Overview

The Systems Administrator role is a full-time position within the Professional Services Analytics and Reporting Development Team at Five9, focusing on the management, administration, and integration of critical systems to enhance product functionality and support.

In Short

• Administer/maintain Linux hosts running the Analytics & Reporting Custom Reports environments.
• Build new hosts/environments including Perl/Perl modules, Apache & modules, Postgres, Postfix, MySQL, LDAP.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Support Development team needs.
• Support customer needs/issues.
• Help improve stability.
• Help with process implementation and improvement.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in systems administration and integration, with a preference for experience in CentOS.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex systems integration projects.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system integration issues.
• A college degree is preferred, ideally in a field related to information technology, computer science, or system engineering.
