Registered Dietitian - New York Licensed - Remote

Overview

The New York Licensed Registered Dietitian is responsible for providing nutritional counseling and education to individuals and groups, developing and implementing nutrition programs, and promoting healthy eating habits to prevent and manage disease. In Short

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for clients based on their health status, dietary habits, and medical history.
• Provide one-on-one and/or group counseling sessions to educate clients on healthy eating practices.
• Accurately document client assessments, nutrition plans, and progress notes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Create and implement targeted nutrition programs for various populations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate nutrition care with overall medical treatment plans.
• Create educational materials and conduct workshops or seminars on various nutrition topics.

Requirements

• Active certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• MUST have state licensure in New York (multi-state licensure is a plus).
• MUST have active Medicare participation and be enrolled with relevant Medicare Advantage plans.
• Professional Liability Insurance coverage.
• Experience with various EHR systems.
• Experience in virtual health or telehealth nutrition counseling is preferred but not required.
• Candidates must successfully pass a background check and maintain good standing with the applicable state board.
