Product Manager for AI-Driven Research Platform - Remote

Overview

FirstPrinciples is looking for an experienced Product Manager who will guide the vision, development, and growth of our AI-driven research platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our product meets the needs of our diverse users, which includes academics, scientists, policy makers, and global institutions.

In Short

• Define and refine product objectives in alignment with FirstPrinciples’ mission.
• Plan and prioritize the product roadmap, balancing technical constraints, user needs, and strategic objectives.
• Work closely with FirstPrinciples leadership to ensure the product vision addresses research challenges.
• Work closely with the engineering team to scope features and track progress.
• Gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders to guide key product decisions.
• Translate user needs into clear, tangible requirements.
• Use data driven observations and user feedback to evaluate product success.
• Ensure product feasibility and robust architecture.
• Comfortable working in a startup-style, cross-functional, remote team.
• Experience with or strong interest in physics and/or fundamental science topics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years in a product management role, preferably in tech or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to plan product roadmaps and manage releases.
• Familiarity with software development processes and basic AI/ML concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
