QA Analyst (IT/E-commerce) - Remote - Mid Shift

Overview

The QA Analyst reports directly to the UK-based technical director in supporting development teams in reliably delivering high-quality results to customers. They achieve this by working closely with teams throughout the software development life cycle, ensuring that appropriate principles and practices are adopted and continuously improved through iterative learning.

In Short

• Design and perform manual tests for software releases.
• Write and maintain automated functional test suites.
• Evaluate and support third-party testing tool integrations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in project planning and guide requirement definition.
• Create business requirements and technical specification documents.
• Provide progress reports on tasks and projects.
• Offer constructive feedback on test results.
• Proactively suggest improvements to testing processes.
• Support and mentor less senior team members.

Requirements

• QA experience on an e-commerce platform.
• One year of development/automation engineering experience.
• Experience in building and maintaining automated test suites.
• Experience collaborating with a development team.
• Knowledge of software best practices like TDD, BDD, and CI.
• Performance testing & optimization.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of common security issues in web applications.
