Draughtsperson for Outdoor Event Planning - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a draughtsperson who is self-motivated and experienced planning within outdoor spaces. You will primarily be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for how our event elements will fit into specific outdoor spaces using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

In Short

• Prepare preliminary design sketches and detailed finished plans.
• Communicate with Creative, Production, and technical teams.
• Review and redraft designs based on team feedback.
• Perform calculations for materials and weight limitations.
• Identify and communicate potential design problems.
• Create design specifications and documentation.
• Prepare complete documentation packages for engineers.
• Report to the Technical and Associate Director.
• Work in a multidisciplinary event team.
• Comfortable working in all necessary digital formats.

Requirements

• Experience with AutoCAD or Sketchup (2D).
• Comfortable with GoogleEarth and CADD systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Google Drive and Google suite.
• Interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and/or EU.
