Senior PHP Developer - 3 Month Contract - Remote

In Short

• Collaborate with the Technical Lead and other developers in building and delivering the product roadmap.
• Responsible for designing and developing web-based applications and integrating with related backend systems.
• Assist with technical direction to the team and be a key contributor to Product Development and Release Cycles.
• Assist with maintaining the overall architecture for all systems/programs/initiatives.
• Implement object-oriented design principles and patterns.
• Develop highly performant, scalable & secure applications.
• Be involved in defining and applying development best practices in a large distributed development team.
• Help to build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Help to ensure a high standard of work through code reviews, coaching and management.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to other developers.

Requirements

• You must have 7+ years of experience and excellent knowledge of PHP.
• You must have 7+ years of experience with PHP MVC frameworks, ideally Laravel.
• You must have 7+ years experience in web technologies including JSON/XML, WebAPIs, RESTful APIs.
• You must have 6+ years of experience with relational databases, e.g. MySQL.
• You must have 7+ years of experience and strong understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
