Senior QA Automation Engineer - Contract - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer with extensive automation experience, particularly with Playwright. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our automated testing frameworks and suites for our web applications. You will work closely with development, product, and other QA team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality, robust, and reliable software.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites using Playwright (TypeScript).
• Debug Playwright tests using trace files and logs.
• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Identify and communicate bugs found during testing.
• Work closely with supervisors to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Act as a strong advocate for quality in the software development lifecycle.
• Continuously seek to improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
• Communicate test results, risks, and quality metrics to supervisors.
