Overview

The Multifamily Risk - Asset Management - Advisor, Collateral Management role at Fannie Mae provides an opportunity to creatively identify risk and work with peers to assess potential risks related to Borrowers, Servicers, and properties.

In Short

  • Identify potential risks through Desktop Reviews of property inspections.
  • Provide feedback to DUS Lenders on property condition issues.
  • Interact with Borrowers regarding risks to Fannie Mae.
  • Assist the Collateral Management Group with special projects.
  • Work in a flexible hybrid environment.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team.
  • Utilize relationship management skills.
  • Engage stakeholders and negotiate effectively.
  • Present information in an engaging manner.
  • Skilled in Excel for data analysis.

Requirements

  • 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Multifamily real estate, Asset Management, or Underwriting.
  • Ability to assess issues independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience with the DUS program is a plus.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively across functional areas.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Excel.
