Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

FAFS Fire & Security is looking for a Service Engineer to design, install, commission, and service automatic Fire Detection, Protection, and Alarm Systems in and around Greater London.

In Short

• Service Fire and associated systems in line with current regulations.
• Liaise with relevant departments for best practices.
• Complete and return all Company documentation and certification.
• Work as a team to enhance the Company’s reputation.
• Carry out scheduled routine servicing efficiently.
• Support the rota schedule for out of hours service.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding system status.
• Plan own work including service visits and repairs.
• Manage and secure own equipment stock efficiently.
• Discuss suggestions for system/service improvement.

Requirements

• Experience in servicing Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
