Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

FAFS Fire & Security specialise in designing, installing, commissioning and servicing automatic Fire Detection, Protection and Alarm Systems in and around Greater London. We are currently looking to appoint a new Service Engineer specifically covering the London region.

In Short

• Carry out scheduled routine servicing in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
• Support the rota schedule for out of hours service.
• Effectively communicate with customers regarding system status.
• Plan own work including routine service and emergency call outs.
• Ensure timely completion of paperwork.
• Manage and secure own equipment stock efficiently.
• Operate in accordance with quality standards and health and safety requirements.
• Discuss and recommend system/service improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in servicing fire and associated systems.
• Knowledge of current regulations.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Organizational skills for planning work.
