MEP Senior Engineering Design Consultant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned MEP Senior Engineering Design professional with strong experience in building services design, design peer reviews and commissioning verification. The candidate should be fully experienced in autonomously leading multiple MEP projects and managing an engineering consultant team.

• Lead and manage MEP design reviews for offices, trading floors, and data centres.
• Validate designs for resilience and redundancy in electrical and HVAC systems.
• Drive commissioning verification and develop Cx plans.
• Manage BIM coordination and clash resolution with various teams.
• Oversee design reviews of critical subsystems for trading floors.
• Coordinate with IT/Network teams for ELV/ICT rooms.
• Mentor junior engineers and represent the engineering team in meetings.
• Ensure compliance with global codes and local regulations.
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder management across teams.
• Comfortable operating across multiple time zones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in MEP design review and commissioning verification.
• Experience working on international projects and coordinating remotely.
• Professional registration desirable.
• Excellent technical communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with strong QA discipline.
• Knowledge of international standards and local regulations.
• Strong technical skills in electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with BIM tools and commissioning documentation.
