Head of Product Design - Remote

Overview

As Head of Product Design, you will lead UI/UX product strategy and drive innovative, user-centric experiences across Extend’s portfolio.

In Short

• Define and own product design vision, strategy and execution from concept to production
• Translate UX vision into actionable strategies and deliverables using data, user feedback and research
• Build alongside product designers from research to wireframing, prototyping and implementation
• Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to ensure feasibility and high-quality execution
• Establish and maintain design systems for consistency
• Mentor and lead a team of product designers
• Foster a strong design culture within the organization
• Work in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results
• Manage the conceptualization, modeling, design and execution

Requirements

• 8+ years of proven, hands-on experience in user experience design
• 3+ years experience mentoring and developing a team
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI experiences
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience conducting user research
• Strong leadership and communication skills
