As a Civil Engineer specializing in Mining at EXP, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on innovative solutions for geotechnical services in civil engineering projects, working remotely while collaborating with a diverse group of professionals.

In Short

• Prepare proposals for geotechnical services including cost estimates and timelines.
• Provide geotechnical services to the Mine Waste unit.
• Conduct design studies for tailings and mine waste facilities.
• Manage projects to meet client objectives and control costs.
• Direct field activities related to construction projects.
• Attend project meetings and conduct site inspections.
• Review and interpret geotechnical monitoring data.
• Write and review technical reports.
• Mentor junior engineering staff.
• Maintain budgetary control and manage multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Geological Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Experience with Tailings, Dam, and Mine waste.
• PE license required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced computer analysis experience.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle.
