Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

Exodus is looking for a Senior Accountant who is passionate about maintaining high standards of financial accuracy and adhering to public company compliance requirements. Your role will be to execute critical aspects of the accounting function, particularly focusing on ensuring compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, month-end close processes, and maintaining SOX and GAAP compliance. We are specifically looking for a detail-oriented professional who is excited about contributing to a team that plays a crucial role in the financial reporting and compliance landscape of our rapidly growing cryptocurrency company.

In Short

• Play a key role in understanding, documenting, and monitoring revenue recognition arrangements.
• Oversee and execute month-end accounting close processes.
• Maintain thorough documentation and perform account reconciliations.
• Continuously assess and refine accounting workflows.
• Collaborate with internal teams on financial implications of new contracts.
• Participate in audit processes, providing necessary documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3-5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Experience in month-end accounting close processes.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Experience with international entities and currencies.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills.
