Overview

The Customer Support Specialist at AnewHealth is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by answering calls and resolving inquiries related to pharmacy benefits management.

In Short

  • Answer telephone inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Document calls in claims adjudication software.
  • Educate clients on plan policies and procedures.
  • Resolve client drug benefit concerns.
  • Initiate prior authorization requests.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Ensure HIPAA guidelines are followed.
  • Assist with various internal tasks to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Attend meetings and educational programs.
  • Work full-time with a flexible schedule to meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 1 year of customer service experience required.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
  • CPhT certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of pharmacology and Medicare guidelines is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize workload.
  • Strong computer skills required.
  • Ability to solve problems under pressure.
