Director of Finance and Operations - Remote

Overview

The Director of Finance and Operations will own all accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting processes while contributing to the operational maturity of a high-growth, private equity-backed business.

• Own the finance and accounting function, including financial reporting and month-end close.
• Oversee business operations, including contracts and employee management.
• Serve as company representative to the Board of Directors.

• Willing to live in or relocate to Northern Virginia or D.C. area.

Requirements

• 6 years of experience in accounting with strong financial statement preparation skills.
• Experience in public accounting is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights.
• Experience leading financial audits and meeting tax requirements.
• Enthusiasm for scaling organizations and continuous improvement.
