Controller - Remote (Eastern Time)

Overview

The Controller will own all accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting processes while contributing to the growth and operational maturity of a high-growth, private equity-backed business.

In Short

• Own the finance and accounting function including financial reporting and month-end close.
• Oversee business operations including contracts administration and employee management.
• Serve as company representative to the Board of Directors.

Requirements

• 6 years of experience in accounting with a strong understanding of financial statement preparation.
• Experience in public accounting preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven ability to address data anomalies in financial reports.
• Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights.
• Experience leading or supporting financial audits.
• Enthusiasm for scaling an organization.
• Comfortable with ambiguity.
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
• Spirit of continuous improvement.
